Kevin is a local builder, and having lived here for 45 years, he is steeped in southern traditions – honesty, integrity, hospitality, craftsmanship, working hard, and caring for your neighbor. With Southern Heritage Residential, you will be working with the builder, Kevin is hands-on, in the field, and will be watching over each and every job from planning to closing.

"We recently had the opportunity to work with Kevin and Melanie on the construction of our new home. While past experiences with other builders at times were trying, it was a completely different experience working with Kevin and Melanie. Throughout the process, they made it clear you were working with friends who had our best interest at heart.
When modifications were desired, or simply suggested, Kevin was able to quickly pivot to insure that we received the home that we envisioned. On more than one occasion, we were pleasantly surprised to show up at the house to find that Kevin had added little touches to insure that the house met not only current, but also long term needs. When the modifications were more extensive, Kevin was able to quickly partner with the drafter and specialists to safely and cost effectively make the requested modifications. It was clear through each of the contacts with the drafter and the specialist that they had a close bond with Kevin and were vested in helping Kevin make the home building process a good experience for the home buyers.
The insight and guidance provided by Melanie in connection with the appearance and decor of the house ensured that the final product met the vision that we had when we started the process. Similar to Kevin's relationship with the partners on the construction side of the business, Melanie had the same relationship with the partners that helped create the ultimate appearance of the home.
While it is our long term goal to remain in this home for years to come, and Kevin made sure that is a reality, Kevin and Melanie have advised that if that goal ever changes for any reason, they are already on board to build the future home.
